Seize The Bay Beer Release Party & Fundraiser at Stones Throw Brewery

Join us as we release the 2025 batch of the Seize the Bay Summer Ale, our annual collaboration with the Community Boating Center!

10% of sales on Tuesday, July 8th from 5-10pm will be donated to the CBC, Fairhaven's local nonprofit fostering safe small-boat recreation on Bellingham Bay.

The Seize the Bay is a light and bright Summer Ale with just a hint of floral spice in the flavor - perfect for some post-sailing enjoyment! 5.4% ABV // 28 IBU

The CBC was founded by a core of local small-watercraft enthusiasts in 2006 and began services to the public in 2007. The CBC is not a club. There are no memberships and no dues. Programs and services are available to all. Much-appreciated tax-deductible donations, season-pass sales, dry-moorage fees, and rentals of sailboats and human-powered watercraft enable the CBC to provide the safety and skills education that is the core of the organization’s mission. Volunteers are integrated into all aspects of the organization from maintaining boats, assisting with rentals, teaching educational classes, tabling at events, and serving as board and committee members.

Starts: July 08, 2025

Time: 5 - 10 p.m.

Admission: Free!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
