2020 Cannabis Solutions reopens downtown Bellingham store

The third 2020 Cannabis Solutions store in Bellingham reopened Friday, April 3 after implementing protocols to improve the safety of guests and team members.

The store at 2018 Iron St. in downtown Bellingham opened for the first time since closing the evening of March 18 due to coronavirus concerns. The stores at 4770 Pacific Highway (near the Interstate 5/Slater Road interchange), and 5655 Guide Meridian, several miles north of Bellingham, reopened March 23.

All 2020 Cannabis Solutions stores are now open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily for guests who placed orders by phone or through the website at 2020menu.com. Budtenders are available to answer questions via both methods. The hour from 10-11 a.m. is reserved for medical patients and others who may be more vulnerable to the coronavirus due to age and/or underlying medical conditions.

“We’ve made appropriate changes for the safety of our guests and team members,” said Aaron Nelson, the Director of Actualization for 2020 Cannabis Solutions. “We now can meet the needs of people living closer to the Iron Street store while also providing more hours of work to budtenders wanting them.”

The reopened stores are offering curbside service (as long as all occupants of the car are over 21) to limit the number of guests in the store, Nelson said, and ensure appropriate social distancing.

Founded in 2014, 2020 Cannabis Solutions is the leading retail cannabis brand in Whatcom County, totaling over $7.1 million in sales in 2019. The Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce named 2020 Cannabis Solutions its 2019 Small Business of the Year.
