Hotel Bellwether 2020 Summer Music Series

Although this year’s Blues Brews and BBQ has been cancelled for the season due to Covid-19, Hotel Bellwether has created a new summer music series that meets all Phase 2 guidelines to keep staff and guests safe and healthy.

The new series will run on Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. from July through August, and will be called Al’Fresco Dining on the Waterfront Terrace. The setting on the waterfront terrace overlooking Bellingham Bay is a large part of the attraction for many guests.

The goal is to make this a laid back evening of good food, music and libations ranging from duos to quartets playing anything from country to Latin jazz. There will be no dance floor and socializing with others outside your personal table is discouraged. Guests will be able to enjoy the music from the spacious Terrace tables or from inside the open-air dining room. We are excited to make this a fun and well run event, while respecting the Washington mandated guidelines.

The event will kick off with Adrian Clark duo on Thursday, July 2, followed by Randall Wade on July 9. For a complete schedule see www.hotelbellwether.com/activities/.

Hotel Bellwether’s July 4th celebration will take place in a similar format to the Al’Fresco Dining event. The Chefs are preparing a special BBQ menu, available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The entertainment will be local country band, Pacific Twang. Music will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 9 p.m.
