Hotel Bellwether Finishes New Guest Room Renovations

Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham, WA began renovating its 66 spacious guest rooms in the winter of 2015 and this spring of 2017 marks the completion of the project. The hotel is thrilled for the room renovation project to be finished and for guests to experience the refreshed and revamped rooms. The renovation consists of many exciting updates including new carpeting, new paint, updated light fixtures, new furniture and new décor. Jim Haupt, Hotel Bellwether’s General Manager, is most excited about the custom artwork designed by Pacific Northwest Artist Amanda Houston. Houston creates original pastel & oil paintings and each room consists of her custom artwork of Bellingham sceneries. “Amanda did a fantastic job capturing the scenic landscapes that make the Pacific Northwest so special. The commissioned art has added a genuine warmth and luxury to the rooms that our guests truly appreciate,” Haupt said. Hotel Bellwether is a premier waterfront hotel with breathtaking views, professional staff and luxurious accommodations. The variety of their 66 guest rooms range from Premier Suites to our Signature Lighthouse Suite and more. With each room newly updated and the same great bay views, Hotel Bellwether is sure to comfort its guests in style. Please visit www.hotelbellwether.com for more updated guest room photos and information.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
