Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham Re-opens

The Hotel Bellwether is thankful to announce it was awarded the SBA Paycheck Protection Program and re-opened its doors Wed., April 22, 2020.

The Hotel Bellwether is now accepting reservations for any guests in need of a safe, relaxing stay. The staff at Hotel Bellwether are diligently working to keep guests safe. The check-in process has been upgraded to now feature a “no-contact” check-in, designed to keep a social distance, but also providing assistance if needed. After guests check out, rooms will be rested for a minimum of 48 hours, followed by a deep cleaning, ensuring a sanitary environment for each guest.

Guests are encouraged to nourish the soul while wandering the expansive grounds surrounding the Hotel Bellwether, revel in the stunning water views, and enjoy room service prepared by the talented chef at the Lighthouse Grill.

Take-Out Now Available

Beginning April 23, the Lighthouse Grill will be offering a delicious family-style menu available for curbside pick-up. A rotating family-style menu offers two menu options per night and switches daily. Meals feed a family of four with daily specials such as Beef Tenderloin, Smoked Salmon Alfredo and Seafood Scampi. The menu is available at HotelBellwether.com/restaurant.

Act of Kindness

The Hotel Bellwether has been fortunate to be on the receiving end of a generous act of kindness from Bob and Kim, a couple within the Bellingham community. The couple contributed two separate donations, summing to $42,000, in an effort to support the Hotel Bellwether’s through the shortfalls of their regular paychecks. 60 of the full-time staff members received two payments of $350.
