Willowbrook Manor Announces Chamber Music Series

It’s like stepping back in time. When you visit Willowbrook Manor English Tea House and Chamomile Farm, you feel like you are visiting a century-old estate. The new Willowbrook Chamber Music Series debuts on Mar. 9, 2019, offering guests an exceptional experience of classical music in an intimate and timeless setting. “An Evening with Brahms” features guest violinist Sharyn Peterson. Accompanied by a sumptuous dinner served on pressed linens and china, the atmosphere makes the event an evening to remember.

Sharyn’s passion for excellence in classical music is displayed through years of exceptional performances both as soloist and conductor. Her teaching inspires and empowers students, many of whom move on to play professionally, with such groups as the Seattle Symphony, the San Diego Symphony, Pacific Northwest Ballet to mention a few. Willowbrook Manor is honored to have Sharyn fill the Manor with beautiful music and create an evening of splendid entertainment.

This is the first of many concerts and events the Manor has planned for guests to enjoy.  The dinner concert is limited to 26 people and is by reservation only. The cost for this debut concert is $50/person and reservations can be made at www.teaandtour.com.

Willowbrook Manor located in Sedro Woolley, 26 miles southeast of Bellingham, is a one-of-a kind place.  Owner Terry Gifford opened her doors to the public last April with Tea and Tulips hosting an English Tea experience for guests who also enjoyed strolling through the gardens and taking in the raised beds full of tulips.

Summers offer scenic and historic bike tours that showcase the beautiful farmland and forest that make East Skagit county so enjoyable.  The historic Northern State Hospital bike tour takes a fascinating look at the mental institution that operated from the early 1900s to the ‘70s.

Glamour camping is a special treat at Willowbrook.  High Camp has the feel of a British Safari camp with elegant furnishings, wall-to-wall carpet, a hot shower and composting toilet.  It has the aura of camping without the ‘roughing it’.

Willowbrook Manor is a place where time goes a bit slower, and people connect with one other.  English tea, scenic and historic bike tours, concerts and glamour camping are a few of the options guests can enjoy.
