Bellingham is Ready To Give Seattle a Run For Their Money!

You’ve heard of the Seattle Hog Dog. Well, meet the SeaDawg!

What is a SeaDawg? A SeaDawg is a Pacific Northwest-inspired take on the classic hot dog. This flavorful salmon sausage, made with sockeye, keta, and coho salmon, is nestled in a soft, buttery brioche bun and topped with our in-house-made jalapeño, pepper, and onion relish, tangy pickled onions, and a bright lemon-dill aioli.

Fresh, savory, and layered with a balance of smoky heat, tangy crunch, and citrusy richness, the SeaDawg brings the flavors of the Northwest to a beloved classic.

How did the SeaDawg come to be? Thanks to our local radio DJ, Allan Fee, on KAFE 104.1 FM. He did a community call for a hot dog that would rival the Seattle Dog. That’s when Slice of Heaven stepped up to the plate and started developing the SeaDawg. Bellingham SeaFeast was asked to be part of the development, and the SeaDawg came to fruition. The taste and rich flavor of this SeaDawg will blow you away!

Want to try it for yourself? Come and get your own SeaDawg at the 10th annual Bellingham SeaFeast festival on September 26-27, and help make the SeaDawg a Whatcom County favorite.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
