Show your pride in Bellingham every June and July! There are plenty of pride activities to help you and your loved ones celebrate, from film festivals and parades to picnics and dance parties. The main pride parade takes place in July and travels through Downtown Bellingham, culminating in a pride celebration for locals and visitors alike.
June 1 - 29, 2023
All month long, the Pickford presents two series celebrating Pride in film.
The first series, Transcendent Love Stories, features four of the most critically acclaimed, visually sumptuous, and agonizingly beautiful romances of the 21st century.
The second series, Hidden in Plain Sight: The Visual Language of Trans Cinema, explores camouflaged representation within the history of transgender film.

The Whatcom Youth Pride Coalition proudly presents the 2023 Youth PRIDE Parade and Festival on June 3, 2023 - an opportunity for LGBTQIA+ youth and youth allies to walk together through a short parade route while the community stands along the sidelines and cheers them on!
The parade culminates in a festival at Bellingham High School where there will be tables for community organizations to share their resources, music and performances, and food trucks for lunch!

Celebrate love, unity, and the beauty of diversity with a Paddle with Pride on Bellingham Bay! Dress up in your most vibrant and fabulous outfits and join us for our annual Pride Paddle on Saturday June 11, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Community Boating Center!
Staff will get you geared up and on the water for an amazing afternoon. There will be tandem sit-on-top kayaks, and sea kayaks available. There will be a quick on-land intro for those who wish but the entire three hours will be open for free exploration towards downtown with a safety boat on the water.
All experience levels and ages are welcome! Registration is required! *14 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Sundays 4-6 pm starting June 11, leading up to Bellingham Pride!
Explore Bellingham’s Queer History with a walking tour around downtown. From early 20th century vaudeville “impersonators” to the first “pride” events we’ll share the stories from the LGBTQ+ archives that have shaped the city we know today.
21+ tickets include drink specials and a performance by Bellebrity Drag Queen Betty Desire at the end of the tour at the iconic Rumor’s Cabaret. Under 21 welcome for the main tour.

Pride IN Bellingham attracts guests from all walks of life and of all ages who come together from Bellingham and across Washington State to celebrate the Pride Movement and LGBTQIA+ rights together.
Located in the heart of Downtown Bellingham these events are centered around Depot Market Square and bring folks to further explore Bellingham and the Downtown District.
