Hotel Bellwether's Blues, Brews and BBQ Welcomes the Lowdown Brass Band from Chicago

The Hotel Bellwether and Lighthouse Grill is bringing The Lowdown Brass Band to a special edition of Blues, Brews and BBQ on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, with The Staxx Brothers back on the event’s regular Thursday night, August 9, 2018. The Lowdown Brass Band, on tour in the Pacific Northwest, is sure to bring the crowd to its feet with a dynamic live show from this horn-driven ensemble that melds hip-hop and rock while taking a page from the jazz and blues legends of the past. Grabbing inspiration from such artists as Dirty Dozen, Michael Jackson and Lee “Scratch” Perry, this band from Chicago has strong roots in the New Orleans Second Line Tradition.  More on this barrier-breaking band, along with videos of their music, can be found at www.lowdownbrassband.com. And to keep the incredible sounds coming, Blues, Brews and BBQ welcomes The Staxx Brothers on Thursday, August 9, 2018. Based out of Seattle, Washington, this local band takes pride in bringing an unforgettable live show to their audience. Inspired by such legendary artists as Otis Redding and the Rolling Stones, this high energy band has created a new sound of soul that will get you up and keep you dancing. More on The Staxx Brothers can be found at www.staxxbrothers.com. Blues, Brews and BBQ is a weekly summer event at the beautiful waterfront Hotel Bellwether and Lighthouse Grill.  Each week during the summer through the end of August features live music, local beer, a great BBQ selection all cooked over an all-natural mesquite lump charcoal, and the best sunset view found anywhere.
