James Beard Announces 2015 Semifinalists For Prestigious Food Awards

Just as the Oscars are quickly approaching, the "Oscars of Food," also known as the coveted James Beard Awards, announced semifinalists in their 2015 Restaurant and Chef Award categories on Wednesday. The categories include two of the most coveted awards, "Best New Restaurant" and "Outstanding Chef." Finalists for the awards will be announced Tuesday, March 24 in New York City, and the winners will be announced Monday, May 4 at the 2015 James Beard Awards gala in Chicago.
