Mount Baker Theatre Invites Community to a Free Open House

Mount Baker Theatre invites the community to attend an Open House Tour on Friday, November 9 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.  The 91-year-old historic venue is located in downtown Bellingham’s Arts District on Commercial St. All ages are welcome. Activities include self-paced exploring with information from volunteer docents, hearing and seeing the vintage pipe organ, interacting with lighting effects, seeing backstage, and enjoying a scavenger hunt with prizes for kids of all ages!  Concessions will be open and previous patrons can bring their reusable MBT Concert Cups. The tour is free, but donations are always welcome.  Part of the mission of Mount Baker Theatre is historic preservation of this building for use as a regional venue. For more information call 360-734-6080 or see www.mountbakertheatre.com. The Mount Baker Theatre, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting the performing arts, receives support from a Tourism Facilities Grant from the City of Bellingham.
