Spring Beer Dinner Inside Chuckanut Brewery

Spring has sprung in Bellingham, WA and that means it’s time for the Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen Annual Spring Beer Dinner. On Sunday, April 29th, at 5:30 pm chef Jeremy Weizenbaum has a great five-course dinner paired with some of Chuckanut’s favorite beers. Brewmaster Will Kemper will be on hand to talk about the history and interesting trivia surrounding each of the beers and Chef Jeremy will comment on the food. Tickets will need to be purchased in advance and are all-inclusive. Enjoy five special courses with five different beer pairings:

  • First course will be Chuckanut’s Mexican Style lager paired with an oyster on the half shell and Kolsch granite, followed by Gerste lager paired with a house pita, smoked eggplant, and pickled veggies.
  • Next, there will be roasted shishito peppers and lemon tahini with Chuckanut’s award-winning Pilsner lager.
  • The main entrée course of roasted duck confit, wild rice pilaf, currants and preserved lemon, will be paired with Marzen lager.
  • Lastly, for dessert, the Maibock will be paired with a chocolate sorbet with berries and pomegranate.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
