The Whatcom Symphony Orchestra gears up for 2017-2018 season

Whether it's the liquid sound of Benjamin Beilman playing Sibelius, Beethoven's Eroica with Amit Peled on cello, or Carmina Burana with more musicians than we have ever tried to get on the Mount Baker Theatre stage, there will be something for you with the Whatcom Symphony's Orchestra. The events include:

All concerts will be Take-A-Teen concerts, with a free ticket available for teenaged and young students when purchased with a full-priced adult ticket (call MBT for information a/or ticketing). Pre-concert lectures by Dr Ryan Dudenbostel about the repertoire will continue for all concerts except the Holiday Concert, with a NEW TIME: 2:15.  Admission is free, but space is limited. Season tickets, packages and single tickets are on sale now by calling The Mount Baker Theatre at 360-734-6080.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
