Kick off the summer with your friends from BAAY! Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth is hosting an all-ages fundraiser at Boundary Bay Brewery’s beer garden on Sunday, June 22. All proceeds from this event will benefit BAAY’s student scholarship fund. Let’s come together to raise “10K for BAAY” and support this vital arts education for local kids.
The Summer Bash will include food and drinks for sale from Boundary Bay, as well as fun yard games, activities, and raffles. From 4:00-5:30 PM, there will be a student showcase featuring performance highlights from the past year of BAAY productions. Admission is by donation, and there will be other invitations to donate during the event.
Last year, BAAY provided over $68,000 in financial aid to students who wouldn’t otherwise be able to participate in our programs. This year, we expect the need to be even greater. Since BAAY’s founding in 2006, the organization has never turned a child away for financial reasons. We are committed to serving all children who want to experience the arts and we need our community’s help to continue removing barriers to participation. We hope to see you at the Bash!
This event is made possible in partnership with Boundary Bay Brewery.
Note: This is not a child drop-off event. Adults must stay with their kids if they require supervision.
Date: Sunday, June 22
Time: 3:00-7:00 PM (performances start at 4:00)
Location: Boundary Bay Brewery beer garden (1107 Railroad Ave)
