It's not a musical, it's something entirely different. Director Ian Bivins brings his masterful physical approach to storytelling to this human drama of what brings us together and what keeps us apart.
Two neighboring groups, one from the East and one from the West, arrive in the same space and build a wall to keep their communities separate. Written by David Campton in 1982, Us and Them is especially relevant to today’s world, while also serving as a universal commentary on human nature and fear of the unknown.
Throughout the rehearsal process, performers ages 13-16 will train in the dynamic acting approach of Margolis Method. They will also experiment with improvisation to bring this story to life on the stage. Don’t miss Us and Them at BAAY this February. The theater is located at 1059 N State St., Bellingham, WA 98225.
