Celebrate Mother’s Day 2017 with a Brunch on the Bay Sail on the Historic Schooner Zodiac

The Schooner Zodiac, the Bellingham-based tall ship, is excited to announce a brunch sail to celebrate Mother’s Day 2017. The excursion is scheduled for Sunday, May 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and departs the Zodiac’s dock at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal in Fairhaven. The cruise features three hours of exploring Bellingham Bay under sail, as well as a full brunch buffet prepared in the Zodiac’s galley by the ship’s professional chef. Passengers can help to raise the Zodiac’s sails and take a turn steering the ship’s wheel under the captain’s instruction. Refreshments are available from the ship’s bar and mothers are entitled to complimentary mimosas. Tickets are $79 for adults and $59 for children. Reservations can be made by calling (206) 719-7622 and more information can be found at www.schoonerzodiac.com. The Zodiac is a classic, 160-foot U.S. Coast Guard certified vessel, operated by a licensed captain and experienced team of volunteer crewmembers. She departs her Bellingham homeport for a variety of public and private charters, as well as day and evening sails from spring through fall, exploring the pristine anchorages of the San Juan Islands and Canadian Gulf Islands. Zodiac also is an ideal setting for company events, wedding receptions, and gatherings of family and friends. Learn more about Mother's Day with the historic Schooner Zodiac, here.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
