Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen Oktoberfest

Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen in Bellingham, Washington will be hosting its third annual traditional Oktoberfest on September 14 from 1-10 p.m. This celebration of the fall will highlight Chuckanut’s amazing German style beers. And there will be lots of fun activities and food besides the beer for everyone to enjoy including bier garden games, face painters, German music and fun contests. A very limited supply of Chuckanut Oktoberfest mugs will be available for purchase along with a selection of packaged tickets for purchase for food and drinks. Entry is $2 per person, kids are free. The menu will include traditional German style brats, sauerkraut, pretzels, sodas, and cider. For the beer drinker Chuckanut will be offering its award winning German style Fest Bier 2019 along with other Chuckanut favorites. Bring your best yodeling voice for the Yodel contest, wear your fancy German clothes for the costume contest, strengthen your arm muscles for the liter holding contest and most of all, get ready for the Hammerschlagen contest (hitting a nail straight into a log). Winners will receive fun prizes and best of all. the audience can participate by making their vote heard too. Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen’s regular menu will be suspended for the day so there’s plenty of room to sit and enjoy all the Oktoberfest celebrations and activities. The restaurant will resume its regular menu and hours on Sunday, September 15 at 11 a.m. Spread the word and bring your family and friends to the Chuckanut Oktoberfest on Saturday September 14 and celebrate all that’s fall! Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen located at 601 West Holly St, Bellingham was awarded the National Small Brewpub/Brewer of the Year 2009 and National Small Brewery/Brewer of the Year 2011 at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). The full service “Kitchen” serves from 11:00 a.m. every day to guests of all ages with an eclectic fresh local menu with weekend brunch starting at 9:30 am. South Nut’s Tap Room is in the heart of Skagit Valley, 11937 Higgins Airport Way, Burlington and welcomes guests of all ages.
