Colt Ford, David Lee Murphy, and Conner Smith to Join ‘Country Shuffle’ at The Northwest Washington Fair

The Northwest Washington Fair is pleased to present Country Shuffle, a concert featuring Colt Ford, David Lee Murphy, and Conner Smith on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 7:00 PM. Discover an incredible night of country music with three unforgettable artists at the 2025 Northwest Washington Fair. Country Shuffle joins the Bank of the Pacific Grandstand Entertainment Series. Presented by Manna Insurance Group.

Colt Ford is a singer, songwriter, rapper, musician, performer, and co-founder and co-owner of Average Joes Entertainment with albums and songs that have seen incredible success in various genres. His album Declaration of Independence reached #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart in 2012 and two years later, Thanks for Listening reached #1 on Billboard Rap & Independent Charts. Ford’s impressive list of artist collaborations adds to his remarkable success. His hit song, “Back” [feat. Jake Owen] made the Top 40 on the Hot Country Songs Chart. Additionally, he was nominated for “Vocal Event of the Year” at the Academy of Country Music Awards for “Cold Beer” with Jamey Johnson. Other artists he’s collaborated with include Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Jermaine Dupri as well as members of No Doubt, Lit, and Lady Antebellum. Ford’s solo tradition of genre-blurring continued with Love Hope Faith in 2017 with songs such as “Reload” [feat. Taylor Ray Holbrook]. As a songwriter, he co-wrote songs such as Jason Aldean’s #1 hit “Dirt Road Anthem” and Brantley Gilbert’s #1 hit “Country Must Be Country Wide” as a behind-the-scenes force in the studio.

Known for his massive hit single, “Dust On The Bottle,” David Lee Murphy has achieved major success as both a singer and a songwriter. “Party Crowd”, which Radio & Records awarded the most played song on Country Radio in 1995, was another hit that came from his debut platinumselling album Out With A Bang. Other top hits from that album include, “Out With A Bang”, “Fish Ain’t Bitin”, and “Just Once”. He went on to create three more albums before focusing on songwriting. Familiar songs he’s written for other artists include Kenny Chesney (“Live A Little”); Jason Aldean (“Big Green Tractor”); Jake Owen (“Anywhere With You”); Thompson Square (Grammy-nominated “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not”); Kip Moore (“Last Shot”); Justin Moore (“Why We Drink”); Gary Allan (“A Feelin’ Like That”), and many more. His most recent album, titled No Zip Code produced the # 1 single and duet with Kenny Chesney, “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”.

Emerging country singer, Conner Smith, has already seen epic accomplishments in the early stages of his career. With hits including “Learn From It”, a Top 40 arrival, “I Hate Alabama”, a viral smash, and “Take It Slow”, a GOLD-certified hit, his songs have quickly gained popularity. His 2024 album, SMOKY MOUNTAINS included hit songs “Creek Will Rise”, a GOLD-certified, multi-week international chart-topper, and “Meanwhile In Carolina”. Additionally, his track, “Steal My Thunder” (feat. Tucker Wetmore) was featured in the summer blockbuster Twisters: The Movie. To add to his accomplishments, the singer/songwriter also received his first ACM Awards nomination in 2024.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
