Doctober 2025 Opens October 2 with Jimmy & the Demons and Visiting Filmmakers
The 18th annual Doctober, the Pacific Northwest’s largest documentary film festival, kicks off on Thursday, October 2, with a sold-out screening of Jimmy & the Demons at 6:00 p.m., followed by an opening night party at the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention.
While opening night tickets are no longer available, members of the press are warmly invited to attend. Accredited press will receive complimentary access to screenings throughout the festival, and the festival team can assist with transportation or accommodations for journalists traveling from outside the region. Private press screenings for specific films can also be arranged upon request.
The festival runs from October 2 to 26, 2025, showcasing a diverse lineup of documentary films from around the world at the Pickford Film Center’s Bay Street location. Highlights include live Q&As with visiting filmmakers:
