History Sunset Family Storytime Cruise

Join the Whatcom Museum on the bay for a brand-new season of our Summertime History Sunset Cruise! Passengers can choose from one of three voyage themes on select dates. Visit the Whatcom Museum website for details. 

On July 22: Bring the whole family aboard for a special evening of storytelling on the Salish Sea. Hear captivating tales from Sacred Sea poet Julie Trimingham and Nooksack storytellers Tammy and Angela Letoi, woven for listeners of all ages and rooted in Coast Salish tradition. Children 5 and younger sail for free! 

In partnership with San Juan Cruises, these weekly cruises run every Tuesday from July 8 through August 26, 6 – 8 PM (boarding begins at 5:45 pm). Please check the online schedule to ensure you purchase the correct date for your chosen cruise theme. Tickets can be reserved online or in person at the museum store. Tickets must be purchased at least six hours before the cruise, with potential walk-on tickets available at the dock.
