Cardiel, Stereo Donkey (feat. Hiro Yamamoto formerly of Soundgarden), Sour Fuzz

Cardiel is a two-piece skaterock band formed in Mexico City in 2010 by Venezuelan natives Samantha Ambrosio (drums/vocals) and Miguel Fraino (guitar/vocals).

Born from their passion for skateboarding videos, the duo blends fast, aggressive punk‑ and fuzz‑driven rock with psychedelic dub elements, creating a dynamic "chameleon" sound that shifts from thrashing riffs to dub breakdowns. They’ve earned a solid reputation by touring relentlessly across the US and Latin America, playing festivals such as SXSW, Hell & Heaven Metal Fest, Sonic Blast, and Invisible skateboard tours like Thrasher’s Skate Rock México — even becoming the first Mexican/Venezuelan band to feature in Thrasher magazine.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
