Reflections of the Land: Himalayan Paintings and Cascadian Basketry

"Reflections of the Land; Himalayan Paintings and Cascadian Basketry" runs Saturday August 16th through the end of September. On display are seldom shown traditional works by Nepalese artists alongside captivating baskets from the Basket Weavers of the Salish Sea. The paintings embody the warmth and spirituality of Himalayan culture, ranging from intricate Thangka paintings of Deities to delightful depictions of Sherpa village life. 

Visitors can explore the world of basketry through functional & decorative baskets made from materials found in our Cascadian bioregion. The new Gallery Shop features a wide selection of imaginative offerings by local artists and artisans, with something to fit every budget. 

Opening Event! on Saturday August 16th from 1pm to 7pm. The show then runs every Thursday, Friday & Saturday through Sept. 27th, from noon to 5pm. 

Enjoy these unique offerings at It’s About Time Cultural Arts Center, located just off I-5, at 2013 Main Street, Ferndale, WA.
