Floral to Cosmos, Meet Joe Reno at the Art Walk

A life-long prolific painter, Joe Reno is even more active in his 8th decade. His art is published in over 40 magazines, catalogs, and reviews. He studied at the Art Student's League and worked at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City in the 1960s, after his military career in Europe. The Northwest Mystic's were his pals, and he carries on the spiritual genre in our region.

Meet Joe Reno at the October 3, Bellingham First Friday Art Walk. Meloy Gallery is the sole venue where proceeds of new works benefit Joe's livelihood.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
