Unique and informative wild mushroom forays offered by Northwest Natura bring you to beautiful wild places bursting with fungi diversity. 

WHAT TO EXPECT: - Introductory lessons to mushroom ecology, foraging, and identification. - Take a walk in the woods at Jazmen’s go-to mushrooming spots. - Learn how to find your own “secret spot” using ecological cues and digital maps using Jazmen’s scouting techniques. - Learn about land use laws, foraging permits, safety, and nature awareness. - Learn ecology of fungi, vocabulary, and important features for identification. - Boost your confidence outdoors and in mushroom ID. - Find your favorite mushrooms or meet them for the first time. We’re guaranteed to find more than one on the list: Lobsters, Chanterelles, Reishi, Lion’s Mane, Yellow Foots, Oysters, Dyers Polypore, Amethyst Deceivers, Witch’s Butter(s), Russula(s), and Amanita(s) - and so many more!
