Celebrate the unveiling of a mural painted by Coast Salish artist Sienum Jason LaClair. This unique art piece represents the rich traditions of the Nooksack people, who have called this place home since time immemorial.

This celebration will include presentations by Nooksack Tribal Chairwoman EamYatil RoseMary LaClair, Sienum Jason LaClair and the Nooksack Royalty. Nooksack storyteller Skwetslatse’elhot Si’li’xw’tunawt Angela Letoi will share the Salmon Woman tale. After the speeches, we will enjoy a potluck meal. Bring a dish to share or not, there will be plenty of food.
