Birch Bay Trick-or-Treat on the Berm

Bring the whole family to Birch Bay for Trick-or-Treat on the Berm, a beloved community Halloween event hosted by the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce. This year's festivities take place on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM along the scenic Berm pathway.

Stroll the the beautifully landscaped Berm and visit over 30 treat stations set up between the mouth of Terrell Creek and the Birch Bay Vogt Community Library property. Families are encouraged to stay on the gravel pathway and avoid walking through the native plantings to help protect this restored shoreline habitat. Dress in your favorite costume, enjoy spooky decorations and family-friendly fun, games and candy aplenty.

Organized in partnership with Blaine-Birch Bay Parks & Recreation District and Friends of Birch Bay Library, this is festive trick-or-treating in a postcard-perfect setting. Treat stop registration is open if you would like to join the fun and help hand out candy or treats: https://forms.gle/SRg7Q5wUCW

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
