A Nature of Writing Speaker Series event, hosted by North Cascades Institute and Village Books Join co-editors Ilyssa and Dave Kyu, and contributors Jill McCabe Johnson, Michael Daley, Jessica Gigot, and Rena Priest, to explore this eye-catching anthology of "campfire stories" - from classic passages to original poetry, historical excerpts to fresh perspectives, treasured folk songs to local myths. 

Through the magic of storytelling, readers are deeply drawn into the landscapes of the San Juan Islands and invited to explore beyond the page with community-sourced recommendations for outdoor activities and unique points-of-interest.
