The final 2.7-mile section of Mount Baker Highway (SR 542), known as the road to Artist Point, is now closed for the winter season.

Salty Social

Join us for an ALL-AGES Salty Social to support our LQBTQ+ programming. Open from 3-6pm, featuring trick-or-treating, yummy local brews (beer, cider, NA bevs, and more), a costume contest and a celebration of our Queer community to wrap up the season! Pop in for a photo at our photo station and stay for a frightfully good time.

This season we are pairing our SUP Sea Monsters Halloween paddle with our pop-up beer garden Salty Social! The paddle parade starts at 1pm and requires registration ahead of time at boatingcenter.org. Wow, paddling AND a post-paddle hangout?! Witch better way to end the season!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
