Whatcom Hills Waldorf School Presents: Baba the Storyteller

WHWS is excited to bring Baba the Storyteller back to Bellingham for an all-ages community event on Monday, October 20th, from 6-7pm (doors at 5:30) at Sehome High School! 

Gather with us for an evening of storytelling, music and connection, as Baba weaves unforgettable tales with his voice and kora (West African instrument) that will enchant listeners of all ages and foster empathy, curiosity, and reflection. Baba the Storyteller is one of the few recognized U.S. born practitioners of the ancient West African storytelling craft known as Jaliyaa, and has received numerous awards for his work as a griot, folklorist, musician, storyteller, and activist.
