The final 2.7-mile section of Mount Baker Highway (SR 542), known as the road to Artist Point, is now closed for the winter season.

Shoulder Season Maker's Market

We're excited to announce that the Fall Shoulder Season market will be held on Saturday, October 18th from 4-8pm at Kulshan's Roosevelt Brewery & Taproom (K2).

Shoulder Season Market was created to support local femme makers and artists during the quieter seasons of the year. This event brings together local makers and artists who are inspired by nature and the changing seasons, offering a perfect opportunity to discover unique handmade goods while supporting the community.

This Fall, 10% of vendor sales and 10% of sales made at Kulshan will be donated directly to the Foothills Food Bank. Come join us for an afternoon of creativity, community, and giving back, all while enjoying some great beer and supporting local artisans!

Starts: October 18, 2025

Time: 4 - 8 p.m.

Admission: Free!

Location: Kulshan Brewing - Roosevelt Taproom (K2)

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
