The final 2.7-mile section of Mount Baker Highway (SR 542), known as the road to Artist Point, is now closed for the winter season.

The Night Gallery

The Night Gallery is Bleedingham Film Festival’s kickoff event that brings together dark artists in various mediums for an evening of celebration of macabre and horror filled delights. (18+ Event)

This year, The Night Gallery is taking it to the next level with a Gothic Masquerade party, based on Edgar Allen Poe’s story, “The Masque of the Red Death.” The Red Death is sweeping through the land, killing the infected within minutes, blood gushing out of their pores, there is no where that is safe. But never fear, The Night Gallery:Masque of the Red Death, bids you to join the opulent Prince Prospero in his castle as his most esteemed guests, where you will be safe from the pestilence that rages through the poor villagers outside.

Step inside the haunted and historic Hotel Leo in downtown Bellingham and you will find several rooms to explore dark artists, vendors, dancers, music, and film making panels, plus interactive characters who will entertain you through each of the rooms.

Starts: October 24, 2025

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
