The final 2.7-mile section of Mount Baker Highway (SR 542), known as the road to Artist Point, is now closed for the winter season.

Fairhaven Winterfest Kick-Off - Light the Village

Let the Magic Begin! Kick off Winterfest with the annual lighting of the Village and a day full of holiday cheer. 

Highlights: 

• Santa Claus & Elves for photos / noon – 3pm 

• Horse drawn carriage rides through the Village / noon – 3pm 

• Holiday Pop-up Market at Firehouse Arts and Event Center / 1pm – 6pm 

• Winterfest Art Walk / 4pm – 7pm Light the Village celebration on the Village Green / 4pm – 7pm 

• Live holiday music / 4pm 

• Fire dancing by Pyro Dancers LLC / 5pm 

• Winterfest Warm-up in the Village Books Reading Gallery / 5:30pm – 7pm

Enjoy some hot cocoa and cider while you mingle with the performers and sponsors; don’t forget to grab your monthlong schedule and Shop Local Card
