Hulder - Offerings to the Otherworld Tour

Hulder is a one-woman black metal band founded in 2018 by Belgian-born multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Marliese Beeuwsaert, also known as Marz Riesterer, who performs all instruments and vocals. Inspired by her love of Scandinavian folklore and traditional Belgian tales, the band's sound blends classic black metal with emotional depth and a unique atmosphere.

The name "Hulder" itself refers to a seductive forest spirit from Scandinavian mythology, known for her beautiful appearance and a cow's or fox's tail.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
