Make.Sale Holiday Craft Market

Make.Shift Art Space's holiday craft market returns! Shop at night! Shop in the day! Two dozen local artists take over Make.Shift vending their crafts. Grab a delicious coffee from our neighbors Cafe Vello, get your hair tensiled and shop for local art, clothing, comics, zines, plants, jewelry and more!

For over a decade the Make.Sale Market has been a home for emerging artists getting their start paired with established artists experimenting with new ideas. More than a market, Make.Sale exemplifies our mission to create as much physical space as possible for artists of all abilities and backgrounds.

Please join us Friday, December 5th 5pm-9pm and Saturday December 6th noon-5pm. Make.Shift empowers, supports, and creates opportunities for local artists and musicians in Whatcom and Skagit Counties. We prioritize marginalized and underrepresented creatives. Make.Shift runs an all-ages art gallery and music venue, affordable art studios and band practice spaces.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
