Wildcrafted Feather, Bone & Antler Jewelry with Northwest Natura

This class is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters looking to deepen their connection with nature through art. Join NW Natura on Valentine’s Day weekend creating jewelry that encapsulate your love for the natural world. Learn about sustainable practices of harvesting materials from nature with an emphasis on respect and reverence for wild beings and the environment. Repurpose, explore, and imagine the stories of the natural materials you use. Learn the basics of jewelry-making and gain a new appreciation for detail and the art of the craft. Use tools to modify bone and antler into pieces for earrings, necklaces, or bracelets. 

Get in a creative zone: make multiple pieces to take home with you. Option to make a faux leather pouch for storing a piece you crafted. Students are welcome to bring their own materials and use the abundance of materials provided (details provided on the event website).
