Bellingham Backcountry Meetup

Featuring Sean Quinn: Co-founder of Hut Tripper

These biweekly meetups are open to all backcountry users. We’ll kick things off with a short educational talk from an expert or dedicated recreationalist, then keep the conversation going over beers. This is a space to connect with other local mountain users, share knowledge, ask questions, and find new backcountry partners.

Starts: January 28, 2026

Time: 6 - 8 p.m.

Admission: Free!

Location: Kulshan Brewing - Sunnyland Taproom
2238 James St., Bellingham, WA 98225

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
