Beginner to Intermediate Watercolor Class Class 

Watercolor Exploration: Surfaces, Techniques, and Creations 

Dive into the vibrant world of watercolor in this hands-on class! Over the course of the workshop, you’ll learn about various surfaces suitable for watercolor painting, including papers, boards, and watercolor ground. 

Key topics include: 

Understanding Surfaces: Explore the characteristics of various papers and boards, and learn how the different surfaces effect the final art. 

Watercolor Paints: Gain insight into the differences between student-grade and professional paints. 

Stretching Watercolor Paper Technique: Learn ways to stretch watercolor paper to prevent buckling. By the end of this class, you’ll leave with at least three finished watercolor paintings, a solid understanding of the materials, and the confidence to continue exploring your creative journey.
