Planting Day @ Kelsey Nature Reserve

Join us to plant native trees and shrubs at Kelsey Nature Reserve in Ferndale. With your help, we can continue building a resilient ecosystem for wildlife and future generations to enjoy. We will have tea, coffee, and snacks, and all tools are provided. We hope to see you out on the land!

Registration is REQUIRED for this event: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/rji6462hoEF0GcdpRL2-sw

There will be a limit of 25 spots. Once you register, additional details will be sent by our Volunteer Coordinator, Lauren Ralbovsky, 3–4 days before the event, including where to meet. If you have questions in the meantime, email lauren.r@whatcomlandtrust.org.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
