Volunteer With Ski to Sea

Volunteers are the heart of soul of the Ski to Sea race! By volunteering, you give back to an event that defines our community, and our region.

Our 2026 volunteer form is open and we'd LOVE to have you join us! It takes over 500 volunteers from Mt Baker to Marine Park to host Bellingham/Whatcom County's largest event and community support is integral to the success of the race.

All volunteers receive a Ski to Sea T-shirt and a lunch. Head to the volunteer tab of our website to secure your preferred location today and we'll see you May 24th!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
