Barkley Village Wine Walk

The Barkley Village Wine Walk is back! Join us for the 6th annual event benefitting Lydia Place. On Thursday, April 23 from 5:00–8:00 PM, stroll through Barkley Village and visit shops and restaurants transformed into pop-up tasting rooms featuring wines from regional wineries.

Your $45 ticket includes a keepsake wine glass, 8 tasting tickets, a goodie bag from participating businesses, and a Haggen charcuterie snack cup.

Check-in begins at 5:00 PM to pick up your glass, tickets, and event map. This year’s event will take place along Newmarket Street, closed to traffic for a pedestrian-only experience, and will feature local artisan vendors in addition to wine tastings. Best of all, 100% of ticket proceeds support Lydia Place, helping families in our community secure stable housing.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
