Downtown Scavenger Hunt & Festival

Downtown Spring Scavenger Hunt 🐥 Celebrate the return of spring! Join us for a special scavenger hunt in Downtown Bellingham, plus local shopping, prizes, and seasonal festivities—rain or shine.

What to Expect:

• THE Scavenger Hunt – Spring is here! A dozen Little Baby Chicks are hiding inside Downtown businesses. Help us find them and win a prize! Start at the Commercial Street Plaza to pick up your map (or print one from our site). Visit 8 map locations, find a chick, and get your map stamped at each stop. Once you’ve collected enough stamps, turn in your map at the festival hub at Commercial Street Plaza for a prize. While you’re there, enjoy local vendors, treats, and chalk art to celebrate the start of spring!

• Local Vendors – Shop handcrafted goods and treats from artisans and food vendors at the festival hub in the Commercial Street Plaza. Vendor list coming soon!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
