Birds of a Feather Bash

Join us for this feather raising, bird-themed soirée benefiting Wild Whatcom. Enjoy an unforgettable evening with music, light bites and drinks, ‘indoor bird watching,’ and community—all while supporting Wild Whatcom’s free nature programs and youth program scholarships. The night features an exciting silent auction and a special raise-the-paddle moment with inspiring participant testimonials.

Last year, we awarded over $81,000 in youth program scholarships, provided environmental education field trips at no cost to 72 public school classrooms, and offered 179 free community nature outings thanks to supporters like you. Don your best avian attire and flock together for a cause! Our VIP Cockt-Owl Hour features guest owl, Spot, form the Sardis Raptor Center! Meet a barred owl, grab a cocktail, and mix and mingle. Make sure to select VIP tickets at checkout for the full experience.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
