Whatcom Literacy Council's 30th Annual Trivia Bee

Join us for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and community impact at the 30th Annual Whatcom Literacy Council Trivia Bee! Gather your team and test your knowledge across a wide range of trivia topics in this lively, interactive event.

Teams will compete using a new trivia format this year, with answers submitted right from your phone—making gameplay fast-paced and engaging for all. Whether you’re a trivia pro or just in it for the fun, everyone is welcome to participate.

The winning team will take home the coveted traveling “Totten Trophy,” and all proceeds from the event support the Whatcom Literacy Council’s free adult literacy programs, helping empower individuals across our community.

Hosted in person at Aslan Depot, the event will be featured on a big screen for an immersive experience. Plus, Aslan Depot will donate $1 from every pint sold during the event—so you can sip and support a great cause at the same time.

Starts: May 07, 2026

Time: 6 - 8 p.m.

Admission: $75 per team

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
