Sunnyland Art Walk

Sunnyland does Friday nights its own way. On Friday, May 8, from 5 – 8 PM, the neighborhood lights up for Sunnyland Studio Hop + Hops, an evening of open artist studios, local shops, breweries, and great food, all within a few walkable blocks.

Studios open their doors, artists share what they’re working on, and the neighborhood fills with people wandering from stop to stop, discovering new work, grabbing a drink, and finding places they didn’t even know were there. To make the night a little more fun, pick up a Hop Card at any participating location.

As you explore Sunnyland, collect stamps from studios, breweries, shops, and artist pop-ups along the way. Collect stamps along the way for a chance to win local art and neighborhood gift cards. Sunnyland Studio Hop + Hops: A neighborhood art walk with studios, breweries, and plenty to discover.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
