Queer Birders Club March Meetup: Spring Migrants of Cornwall Park

Come find your flock with other nature loving queer folks for a monthly bird walk guided by naturalist and experienced birder, Kate Brown of Bird Bellingham! The Queer Birders Club is for queer birders of all ability levels. Whether you're brand new to birding or a seasoned pro, this is a safe space to be yourself, have fun, and get curious about birds with other nature-loving queer folks!

Walks are always facilitated by a queer naturalist and birder with over a decade of experience running birding and nature connection programs for folks of all ages. Bring your coffee, a donut, and your coziest outdoor clothes to join us outside every month of the year!

Where to Find Us: We will be meeting at the Meridian Street Entrance of Cornwall Park, near the covered pavilion. The Queer Birders Club typically meets from 9-10:30am on the last Sunday of every month (with some exceptions for availability and holidays).

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
