Fix it Fair

FREE * Clothes Mending * Small Appliance Repair * Knife Sharpening * Jewelry Repair * Leather Conditioning * Good VIbes *

Small appliance repair by NW Free Repair includes just about anything you can carry in that is not gas powered - sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, lamps, hand tools, electronics, and so much more. These folks are incredibly talented and capable.

Clothing mending includes patches, button fixes, pocket holes, sweater holes, and more! Please limit your items to two and be prepared to return at a later time.

Jewelry repair can include jump ring fixes and other minor repairs.

Knife & Pruner sharpening. Please limit two items per person, as we hand-sharpen with whetstones, and this is labor-intensive work.

Leather polishing includes basic leather polishing and cleanup- this includes shoes, belts, wallets, and bags.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
