Strings & Things International Music Festival

Strings & Things International Music Festival—a one-day celebration of string-driven artistry in our new 2026 location - Lighhouse Marine Park, Point Roberts!

In this unique corner where America meets Canada, we bring together world-class musicians from both sides of the border for an intimate day of folk, bluegrass, symphonic rock, and genre-bending collaborations you won't find anywhere else. Experience untethered musical flexing, cross-border collaborations, and special guests in a setting where community spirit runs as deep as the musical talent runs high.

With the beautiful Lighthouse Park as our stage and a small but passionate audience, Strings & Things proves that sometimes magic is found in the most unexpected places. Join us for a day where musicianship meets community spirit, where Canadian and American artists unite through music, and where every note celebrates what brings us together.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
