Yell Echo Album Release Show - Ryan Wapnowski

Come celebrate an evening with Ryan Wapnowski as he debuts his long awaited solo album. Listen to him play a dented, tinny, out of tune saxophone he’s had for over 30 years, accompanied by a synth keyboard that doesn’t always work. Watch as he layers somewhat harmonized sounds into a tapestry of loops that he rarely synchronizes correctly. And pay close attention to how each song sounds basically the same because he doesn't play outside of the D Major scale. But through all that mess, enjoy an evening with an artist driven by a passion for authentic expression.

Doors Open: 7:00PM, show starts at 7:30pm

Cost: $10 (tickets purchased at event, cash or Venmo QR)

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
