Fairhaven Chicken Fest

Fairhaven’s delightfully quirky Chicken Fest is back! Join us in Fairhaven for a whimsical afternoon of feather-filled fun on the Fairhaven Village Green from Noon–4:00 PM on Saturday, July 18th. This family-friendly celebration is all about community, laughter, and our beloved chicken friends. Expect a playful carnival atmosphere packed with chicken-themed games, prizes, storytelling, live music, art, vendors, exhibits, and wonderfully silly activities for all ages.

Keep an eye out for our larger-than-life chicken mascot, ready for photos, high-fives, and general poultry mischief. Whether you arrive ready to participate in our costume contest in full chicken attire, sporting a few feathers, or simply as your fabulous self, Chicken Fest is your chance to enjoy an afternoon of lighthearted fun in the heart of Fairhaven.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
