Comedy Night at 'Ono Kitchen

Bellingham's best monthly comedy show is back! Naha Comedy Presents Monica Nevi, 21+

Monica Nevi originates from Washington State, a collegiate basketball player, after injuries ended her career she decided to move forward with the other thing people love for women to do and pursue her strong interest in stand-up comedy. Staying cleverly sarcastic, years later, Monica is an internationally touring headliner, performing in festivals, clubs and theatres all over.

She has been seen on FOX’s Laughs TV Show as well as in sketches on ESPN’s Sports Center. Monica’s debut standup special “Big Stepdad Energy” was released with Helium Comedy Studios and was voted one of the Top 50 specials or albums of the year by We Own The Laughs. She followed it up with a holiday comedy special called “Jokes for the Holidays” that has become a seasonal favorite. She has two #1 comedy albums and was named an “Undisputed Genius of Comedy” by the Stranger. She is also a nice person.

Dan Mills: With a clean and conversational style that has endeared him to Western Washington audiences over the past seven years, Bellingham comic Dan Mills has established himself as a favorite. As a winner of Bellingham's Got Talent, Dan has shared the stage with top West Coast comedians, and his distinctive humor has earned him the nickname "the funniest dad in the whole wide city".

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
